Q: Why did you start the Road Trip Program?
A: We started it to make it easier for champions to donate who cannot ship or bring their books to us. Plus, it is very hands-on, making it more fun and impacting.
Q: Do I have to RSVP in order to show up at a pit stop?
A: Nope! Just meet us at the designated time and place and bring your books with $1 per book for shipping.
Q: What if I can’t meet the Road Trip trailer, but still want to donate my book?
A: No worries! You can still donate (don’t forget to include $1 per book for shipping) – visit our Book Donations Page for more information.
Q: How do I know if my book is going to be helpful?
A: Make sure it meets our Book Acceptance Policy (PDF) and Current Material Needs (PDF).
Q: Is there something I can do to help out with the Road Trip Program?
A: Yes, we are always looking for champions to host pit stops and occasionally have other needs as well. Email our Road Trip Captain, John Lowry at john@cribooks.org for more information
