Operation: Share Your Bookshelf

When God first called Abraham he gave him this promise:

“I will make you into a great nation and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.”(Genesis 12:2-3)

God kept his promise in the person of Jesus, but that promise was extended to us in the Great Commission as Jesus commands his disciples to go into all the world making more disciples. From Abraham to Jesus to the Church, God has always intended for his people to give away the blessings they have received.

That’s why we started Operation Share Your Bookshelf – it is our way of joining together to take the blessings we have received and pass them along to others. With Operation Share Your Bookshelf, instead of sending your books to us, we give you the information needed to send it directly to a recipient in another country.

  2. Identify which Bibles/books you would like to send. Since you will be paying for shipping, we recommend keeping it under 4 lbs in order to get the $23.95 shipping rate
  3. Use the mailing labels that we send to you and ship your package through USPS – they offer a flat rate envelope up to 4 lbs. for just $23.95 and it can be shipped to any country in the world. (Using our mailing labels will protect your personal information)
  4. Return the response letter from the packet to CRI and indicate whether you would like to request additional packets, make a donation, etc.
